Foodlink is dedicated to leveraging the power of food to end hunger and build healthier communities. Since 2010, the Foodlink Community Farm has provided healthy food access to residents of the surrounding Rochester neighborhoods, while also serving as a commercial growing space.
The New Energy Works team recently raised a brand-new heavy timber pavilion at the Foodlink campus on Lexington Avenue in Rochester as part of a 2-million-dollar expansion of their facility. This pavilion overlooks the farm and pairs with the Edible Education Center to expand community gathering, educational events, and farm-based programs.

The new timber frame community learning pavilion is situated between two central campus buildings, creating a connection to both indoor classroom education and outdoor hands-on learning. Adjacent to the pavilion and accessible via two walkways is the Edible Education Center, which hosts school field trips and community events, and a 3,000-square-foot greenhouse that supports year-round growing.
