A striking 2,000-square-foot timber gazebo and pergola is the centerpiece of Soundside Park and Boardwalk in Nags Head, North Carolina. The pavilion’s conical form presents a complex structural and geometric design while creating a gathering space for the community.
The idea that people from across the country, most of whom had never met, could come together in uncharted territory and pull off a project like this is pretty good stuff. I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for everything. I don’t know if we will ever do another project together, but I hope we do. These memories and feelings of accomplishment will last my lifetime.
